Do you agree with the writer? Why? Give at least 3 examples to support your answer.
I agree with this opinion. I think that our English proficiency has no advantage over other advanced nation's English proficiency. When Japanese meet foreigners, most Japanese who studied English since they are junior high school students can't tell foreigners their thoughts in English without hindrance. There are three reasons why we can't speak English well. First, Japanese are very shy. When foreigners approach Japanese in English, Japanese will look uncomfortably down at their hands and they might be thrown into confusion. Next, Japanese are afraid of failure. For example, Japanese people has discussions and, they should say their opinion before a large audience in Japanese. But they don't have an active involvement on discussions. They can't say their opinion in Japanese and, even more cannot do in English. Lastly, Japanese are perfectionists. They don't give an inch for everything. If teacher say to introduce theirself, first of all, they writes some papers about saying. Then, they run a check on writing. After that, they rehearse a speech. I think that the Japanese government change them opinion about English education in Japan. So kids of Japan can't have communication in English for a long, long time.

Happy New Year
Do you agree or disagree with the author (who is Japanese). Please explain why in your blog.
I agree with this opinion. There are two reasons that I agree it. First, I think that men gets interested in fondness for women. For example, when I was a high school student, my friend brought a foundation in the school. One of my male classmate got interested in her foundation and, he put on foundation. He said, " Am I pretty?" Then, I can see men that wear a skirt in magazine. They says that it's always in fashion but, I think that they has a weird shape. Also, my male friend often asks me to lend me some comics for girls. So I sometimes borrows him some comics for boys but it's a story about friendship. I don't know he can understand this comic's heroine feelings about love. Next, the notion of women's equality gains ground in Japan society. I think Japanese are getting a blurry between men and women. Because, it becomes less that men gets an upper hand of women on business or daily life. So women are not the weak of society for men and men changes his way of thinking about women. For all these reasons, I think men becomes like women about thinking or feeling.

Homework#5
We talked about many superstitions in many countries,
but do you think it is important to talk about them? Why?Is communication affected by superstitions?
Do you believe in Japanese superstitions? If so, what superstitions, what do they mean and why do you do,use, or believe in them?
I talked about German superstitions last time. It's similar superstitions between Germany and Japan. German seem to believe some superstitions. But, I don't think it's important to talk it. It's good to talk on the boards and it's not good to die hard about supestitions. So I don't think good to come too much under the influence of superstitions.
Next, I believe in Japanese superstitions. For Example, when I see a hearse, I clench my fusts tightly to hide my thumbs. If I don't hide my thumbs, I'm with my parents when they pass away. I can't accept this supestition. But I think in case of emergency and I'll hide my thumbs.

Today we talked about time in different societies and the English words associated with them. For homework, answer the following question:The English language has many proverbs and sayings about time.
1. Time is money.
I think it's important thing in my life. When I had a lost time on weekend, I felt regret. For example, I always spend at home on weekend. And, I slept or wasted most of my time doing nothing real serious. If nothing is done, I crock. So, I try to go to culture lesson or bedrock beth for beauty. I don't get back a lost time and I should use value time.
2.A stitch in time saves nine.
In my opinion, it's important thing. But I can't do it. If I schedule in advance to study, I don't need to feel heat deadline eve. I always regret. I don't know what I should do. I wonder how I can after this.
3.There's no time like the present.
I'm not so bat at taking my chance. I get what you want and pay careful attention to someone. But, I have procresting personarity. So I hesitate when I'm in love with someone. I might miss a chance about it.
4. Fashionable late.
I think that it's not good to judge of people by their appearances. I see good that someone keeps their individuality. But, it's important to get a good sence of fashion. For example, it's not good that someone wear a outer cloth with a flower pattern and a checked skirt. It's nonsencial fashion. I don't want someone who have poor taste to go shopping.

2.Do you think Japanese society puts an importance on clothing when judging other people from another country?
A.No,I don't. I think Japanese are more smart dresser than foreigner but we have a yen for foreigner. So we like them to their mood and character. Foreigner have a different thing from Japanese. In my opinion, it's important that how someone feel to see foreigner's mood and emotion.
3.What colors are you wearing now?Do they reflect your mood?
A.I'm wearing a purple parka and black pants right now. It doesn't reflect my mood. Easy-to-wear is most important for me. So I wear without reference to colors. But I sometimes choose the light colors that I can look sweet to wear when I meet boyfriend.
Next week we will discuss friends, please prepare by answering the following questions:

A.I talk about many topics with my friends. But I don't ask my friends about my problems. I can express my opinion and they never think that I don't get a bee under my blanket for them. But that's not to say that I hate to say it. I don't know exactly when to talk to them about my problem. So I try to talk it.
2.Do you have different friends for different parts of your life? If so, how are they different to you? Do you talk about different things? Go to different places? Give me some examples.
A.Of course, yes I do. We have different parts each and all. I have a friend when I was a high school student. She likes to wear punk style and gothic lolita style. So when I go shopping with her who is wearing it, people stare at us out of novelty. But we take no thought it and we don't need to get up tight. I assume that we have different parts each and all because we don't live the same place, we don't the same spot for working.
