a. Do you have any international friends or a host family? If so, how would you express your condolences to them if a family member died? If not, then how would you express consolences to an American host family if their Grandmother died?
A:No, I don't. But when I was high school student, I went to foreign country for school trip. Then I stayed foreigner's house for 4 days. If my family or friend died, I don't want others to say confort and cheer. It makes me even sadder. So, I'll tell them that "I hope you will accept my sincere consolences." I think that we doesn't need to say emotional word.
b:Have you ever been to a foreign funeral?
A:No, I have never been to there.
2. The language of Clothes (preparation for next weeks topic):
a.Why are Japanese designer label crazy? Why is what you wear so important?
A:Because they have unique ideas. Their ideas sometimes couldn't understand us. Japanese lose access to person who has different values from them. Also, I think that around peple could see me who is good-looking.
b:What does "Don't judge a book by it's cover." mean to you?
A:I think that if I go to book store, I don't only watch book covers but also should check contents of books. Because I couldn't know inside a book. So When we get along with someone, we don't must go by appearances. We can't judge someone until we have walked a mile in his or her shoes.

Hi. I think your words was very good because your precedent was very easy to understand. Books are very good precedent. I sometimes buy some books, then I always confirm about these contents of books. I think that it is the same of people.
I agree with your opinion. I also have foreign friends or familiy. When I went to foreign country to study English, they always take care of me and very kind for me. If someone of the family died, i'm possible only crying. Then,I will keep in touch with them. And I want to say words of comfort, not emotional. Your opinion served as a reference very much.
I think so too. I think it is rude to judge someone by appearance. I can know about the person first by talking with the person. Your opinion was very plain.
